Some days ago I had a request, to see if I could make a goddess bead that would fit the Danish charm/bracelet series(Troll & Pandora). An excellent challenge since I have just cored my first beads.
These are my first attempts, front and back:
As bracelet beads go, these are quite large, around 2cm long, but I have tried to keep the diameter fairly slim. Since these are for a bracelet they do not need to be perfectly ballanced, which is nice for these front-heavy ladies.
I am not sure these two can be cored, so I will work on getting the rim of the holes even, and also on getting them a little bit smaller.
Now to see if I can make goddesses with the hole going horizontally ...

Very nice! I love the look of plain ivory. It's not easy making these so small, I think you did a great job!
Thank you Teresa :)
I love ivory too, a bit too much I think, because I had hoped working in glass would get me to use colours, but there you go :)
they are so cute..
after watching in the wings at Pino Signoretto's class this summer I decided to give it a try at home..
I used our choc... I was more than thrilled with the way she turned out

Yes, sculpting is really fun, and wow, I'd love to see him work. I'd love to see your goddess too :)
